Our story

Our mission is simple: detect, decode and defuse supply chain threats before they harm your business, your people, or the planet.

Founding story

It began as research.

In today’s global economy, the real cost of doing business often hides in plain sight, buried under outdated systems, fragmented supplier networks and overlooked signals. We created Intellens to shine a light into the blind spots that too many still ignore.

Founded on a simple but urgent belief: transparency is the first step toward transformation.

    Research

    A master’s thesis at Copenhagen Business School: Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) in Supply Chain Risk Management (Cand.merc.it., 2024).

  2. Then

    Software

    Software able to gather intelligence on hundreds of millions of companies, locate their offices and factories, and run automated risk analysis on any supplier in a network from its existing ERP data.

  3. Today

    A platform

    A supply chain risk management platform for procurement and supply chain teams. It searches the news about every supplier each hour, screens their owners and managers against official sanctions and crime lists every day, and matches satellite fire detections and disaster alerts to each supplier’s own sites.

How we work

One loop, on every supplier.

The platform runs one continuous loop: collect, resolve, score, act and report. It is built on the open-source-intelligence methodology from our founder’s research at Copenhagen Business School.

    Collect

    News about your suppliers searched every hour across hundreds of risk topics, 500,000+ sanctioned, wanted and politically exposed people and companies checked every day, satellite fire detections near every site several times a day, and every major sea passage and port.

  2. 02

    Resolve

    Every signal is matched to the specific supplier it concerns, not a keyword and not a country. Matching companies to their real office and factory locations is the core of the founder's OSINT research, turned into a product.

  3. 03

    Score

    Every supplier gets one overall score from up to 11 risk lenses, re-scored twice a day, starting from the country and sharpened by what is known about the site itself. Risk at any depth in the chain flows up to the suppliers you buy from.

    Alert & act

    Every alert names the supplier and a recommended next step written for it. One click turns it into a task with an owner, a due date and a checklist. When the underlying risk lifts, the alert says so.

    Report

    LkSG and CSRD reports are built from the same supplier data when you export, so the numbers your board sees and the evidence your auditor reads come from one place.
