About Intellens

Laurits Aae Mouritsen, Founder
Founding story
Intellens was founded by Laurits Aae Mouritsen on a simple but urgent belief: transparency is the first step toward transformation. In today’s global economy, the real cost of doing business often hides in plain sight, buried under layers of outdated systems, fragmented supplier networks, and overlooked signals. At best, this creates waste and inefficiency. At worst, it allows child labor, forced labor, corruption, and environmental damage to continue unchecked. We created Intellens to change that: to shine a light into the blind spots that too many still ignore.
Intellens did not begin as a company; it began as research. Its founder wrote his master’s thesis at Copenhagen Business School — Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) in Supply Chain Risk Management (Cand.merc.it., 2024) — and built software able to gather intelligence on hundreds of millions of companies, locate their offices and factories, and run automated internal and external risk analysis on any supplier in a network by tapping into its existing ERP data. Intellens is that research, productised for procurement and supply chain teams.
Today, Intellens is an AI-powered supply chain risk management platform for procurement and supply chain teams. It scans 200,000+ daily sources in 40+ languages, monitors 500+ international databases, and tracks 3,000+ ports and airports across 195 countries and 55 territories, replacing fragmented spreadsheets and annual inspections with a single intelligent interface. Our mission is simple: detect, decode, and defuse supply chain threats before they harm your business, your people, or the planet.
The platform is organized into four modules: Integrity for reputational, stakeholder, and transport risk; Stability for commodity prices, currency swings, and labor costs; Resilience for geographic risk across climate, conflict, energy, and compliance; and Supplier Scoring, which benchmarks suppliers on 15+ risk variables. Together they cover 350+ risk factors and feed alerts, tasks, and CSRD/LkSG reporting from one place.
Intellens is a trading name of Whitebrook Holding ApS (CVR 40823557). The team works from Dalslandsgade 8F, 2300 København.
Intellens is not affiliated with the Intellens image-search browser extension or the Qinux Intellens translation glasses.
How Intellens works
The platform runs one continuous loop — collect, resolve, score, act, report — built on the open-source-intelligence methodology from our founder's research at Copenhagen Business School.
- 01
Collect
Machines read what no analyst team could: 200,000+ news sources a day in 40+ languages, 500+ international trade, compliance and risk databases, and 3,000+ tracked ports and airports. Local-language signals surface long before they reach the international press.
- 02
Resolve
Every signal is matched to the specific supplier it concerns — not a keyword, not a country. Entity resolution across hundreds of millions of companies and their real office and factory locations is the core of the founder's OSINT research, productised.
- 03
Score
Supplier scores blend a country-level baseline with location-specific evidence in a Bayesian fashion, benchmark each supplier across 15+ risk variables, and propagate risk up from sub-suppliers weighted by procurement share. Weights are timestamped, so every score is explainable to an auditor.
- 04
Alert & act
Alerts are supplier-level, deduplicated and direction-aware. One click converts an alert into an owned task with a due date and checklist; when the source signal lifts, the closure links back automatically — the audit trail writes itself.
- 05
Report
CSRD and LkSG report packs auto-build from the same live supplier data every 24 hours and export as audit-grade PDF, so the numbers your board sees and the numbers your auditor reads come from one place.
